  • 300 g dried chickpeas
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1/2 bunch coriander
  • 1 TL cumin
  • 1 TL coriander seeds ground
  • 1/2 TL baking soda
  • 1 TL salt
  • sesame optional
  • oil for deep-frying

Preparation

  1. chickpeas 12–18 hours soak, but not cook.
  2. with onion, garlic, herbs and spices coarsely-finely grind.
  3. mixture 30 minutes refrigerate and baking soda work in.
  4. small balls or slightly flattened patties shape.
  5. Deep-fry at 175 °C for 3–4 minutes deep golden and crisp deep-fry.
  6. Serve with pita, salad and tahini sauce serve.
